5 Days of Meditation & Inspiration

Journey with five extraordinary teachers from the Embodied Philosophy community.

Our annual Meditation Resolution returns this January with a fresh orientation: an inner journey through the five sheaths (kośa), the ancient yogic map of our layered being — from the ‘food sheath’ to the ‘bliss body.’

Across five days, you’ll explore the five kośas as waystations of sacred inner travel — each one a threshold, each one a deepening. Whether you’re beginning or renewing a practice, these sessions offer a powerful way to enter the new year with clarity, connectedness, and a contemplative re-orientation. Perhaps even a meditation revolution.

Your Five-Day Journey

January 1 — Annamaya Kośa (Food Sheath): Body as ‘Temple’
with Abha Rajbhandari

We begin where every true pilgrimage begins: in the physical body. Ground into embodiment, attune to sensation, and step onto the path with presence and reverence.

January 2 — Prāṇamaya Kośa (Vital Breath Sheath): Breath as Guide
with Nataraj Chaitanya
The subtle winds become your compass. Learn to follow the flow of prāṇa as it orients the inner traveler, opening the channels of vitality and subtle perception.

January 3 — Manomaya Kośa (Mind Sheath): Mind as Landscape
with Mary Reilly Nichols
Thoughts, emotions, memory—this is the terrain through which every pilgrim must pass. Explore the mind not as a problem to solve, but as a living landscape to walk with curiosity and compassion.

January 4 — Vijñānamaya Kośa (Wisdom Sheath): Wisdom as Compass
with Oneika Mays
Intuition, insight, and inner vision come forward. This day invites you into the deeper intelligence that guides each step of your pilgrimage from within.

January 5 — Ānandamaya Kośa (Bliss Sheath): Bliss as Homecoming
with Susanna Harwood-Rubin
The journey culminates in the heart’s original nature. Rest in the field of bliss, spaciousness, and luminous presence — the destination that was secretly your starting point all along.

A Prelude to a Year of Pilgrimage

Meditation Resolution will inaugurate our 2026 Wisdom School theme: The Pilgrimage Project — a year-long curriculum exploring inner and outer forms of sacred travel across traditions. This 5-day series offers a glimpse of the teachers, practices, and philosophical richness that will unfold over the year.

Start the year not by trying to improve yourself, but by harnessing a yogic map to reveal the bliss that already lives inside you.
